PICK 3 and PICK 4 are similar types of games known as “Daily Numbers Games.” that were inspired by popular street games played in communities up and down the East Coast of the United States.
In PICK 3 players pick three numbers and then wager on how they predict the order that the numbers will be drawn. PICK 3 is a popular game for people who like to play their own personal lucky numbers like birth dates, hotel room numbers, or license plate numbers and appeals because there are several bet options to choose from. There are three prizes per draw, a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize, all with fixed prize amounts depending on your choice of bet. A minimum $1 wager could win up to $400 and $2 could win $800 and so on.
1. Each play slip has 5 panels marked A-E.
2. The cost for each game panel is $1, $2, $5 or $10 depending on your choice of wager.
3. Each panel contains three columns of numbers ranging from 0 to 9.
4. You can play 1 to 5 panels per play slip in alphabetical order starting at PANEL A.
5. There are three PICK 3 draws a day, so decide which game you want to enter by marking your selection in the column headed TIME OF DRAW. You can mark one box only from a choice of MID DAY, SUNSET, EVENING or ALL.
6. PICK 3 has an ADVANCED PLAY feature that lets you play your choice of games for any day of the week. You can select to play for up to seven days. That’s up to three draws a day, seven days a week with three prize payouts giving you up to 63 prizes to aim for with each game panel!
7. Alternatively you can play in advance by selecting how many draws you wish your numbers to run for in the NUMBER OF DRAWS column. For example if you selected 4 in this column and had selected MIDDAY in the left hand column, then your numbers will be entered into the next four consecutive MIDDAY draws.
8. You can elect to play the ADVANCE PLAY feature or the NUMBER OF DRAWS feature but NOT BOTH.
9. Select 3 (three) numbers in each panel, one in each column, starting with panel A.
10. Use only blue ink, black ink or pencil for marking. Red Ink will NOT work.
11. Mark each number chosen completely like this: ■
12. If you make a mistake mark the “VOID” box. DO NOT ERASE
13. You can have the computer randomly select your numbers for you by marking the “QUICK PICK” box. Alternatively ask the retailer for a “QUICK PICK”
14. Select your BET AMOUNT from $1, $2, $5, or $10.
15. Next decide on your BET TYPE depending on whether you want to bet on three of your numbers chosen or two - you have 6 choices in all but can only select ONE:
See table of bet types on next page.
Bet Type | Explanation | Odds |
STR | Straight Bet. A Straight wager wins when the selected three-digit number matches the winning numbers exactly as drawn. | 1:1000 |
BOX | Box Bet. A Box wager wins when the three digits selected all appear in the winning number in any order. Box bets pay out depending on whether certain numbers are repeated or if they are all different:
6 Way Box Bet. If all the selected digits are different, there are six ways of winning and a “6-way box” results. For example If you selected 1 2 3 and the numbers were drawn 2 1 3 you will win from the following 6 combinations: 123, 132, 213, 231, 312, 321
3 Way Box Bet. If one digit is repeated (e.g. 477) there are three ways of winning and a “3-way box” results. For example 477, 774, 747. 3-way box pays out just over double a 6 way box because a 3 way box result is more rare.

STR/ BOX | Straight & Box Bet. A player may also select a “Straight Box” option, which results in a straight bet and a box bet with the same numbers selected for each bet type. This option shall produce two separate wagers (one straight wager and one box wager) and will cost twice as much as a straight wager - $2. |
|
FRONT PAIR | Pairs wagers require only the selection of two (of the three digits) and choice of “Front Pair” or “Back Pair” bet.
Front Pair- wager wins when the number selected matches the first two digits (high order) of the winning three-digit number in exact order. Example if you picked 1 2 3 and 1 2 9 are the winning numbers you win on the first two. |
1:110 |
BACK PAIR | Back Pair – wager wins when the number selected matches the last two digits. Example if you picked 1 2 3 and 5 2 3 are drawn. | 1:110 |
SPLIT PAIR | Split Pair Bet Player matches the first and last numbers drawn. Example if you picked 1 2 3 and 1 5 3 are drawn. | 1:110 |
16. After selecting your numbers and options check your play slip before handing it to a Lottery retailer.
17. The retailer will process your play slip on receipt of your wager amount and your numbers will be entered into the central draw system.
18. The Lottery terminal will print a ticket which is your proof of purchase and entry into the draw.
19. The play slip is NOT valid proof of a ticket purchase.
20. Keep your ticket safe, you must present a valid ticket to claim a prize if you win.
21. Always check you ticket to ensure it has the numbers you selected and the draws in which you want to play.

PICK 3 Liability Limit
The Lottery’s gaming software is programmed, to meet the Lottery’s internal risk management requirements, to restrict the per draw prize liability exposure on the Pick 3 game to $1,000,000 per bet type; this means that, for example, in the event that betting on a particular sequence of numbers is so heavy, the Lottery’s exposure reaches $1,000,000 for any bet type , for example, a 1-2-3 sequence, the system will automatically bar and decline further bet transactions of the sequence at all lottery terminals. The effect on the potential prize payouts in this very rare scenario is that prizes would be paid on a pari-mutuel basis, if the sequence of numbers were drawn.
Retailers may not pay prizes greater than $500 unless authorized by the Lottery. Prizes of up to and including $500 can be claimed from any local lottery retailer or at the Central Lottery Office. Prizes valued at greater than $500 must be claimed at the Central Lottery Office. Caribbean Lotto Jackpot prizes must be claimed, in person, at the Central Lottery Office.
