Message of support to the Government and people in Caribbean Countries affected by extreme weather systems

IGT and Caribbean Lottery™ extend our thoughts to the people of Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, who have been affected by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

We have been following with great concern the impact of these hurricanes in the countries in which we operate.

We share the primary focus of the governments of the impacted islands that the safety of residents be addressed first and foremost. The important work of rebuilding damaged infrastructure and restoring normalcy to everyday life are vital steps to restoring the prosperity of these nation states. IGT and Caribbean Lottery are working to find the best ways to offer our assistance in the recovery efforts from these devastating storms.

The welfare and safety of our team members and their families are the priority, as we participate in relief efforts. Thankfully, their lives werespared, but for some of them, the road to recovery may be difficult. We have already provided basic supplies to these families and continue to reach out to them, even as we plan our wider support.

We also wish to empathise with the residents of other northern Caribbean states and the U.S. who are being affected by these extreme weather systems. With the spirit of brotherhood so strong in our region, we know that despite the challenges, we will be able to recover from these dire circumstances.
