Ricardo tried his luck and won BIG with a $74,900 Lucky Pick Jackpot

Phillipsburg, St. Maarten – June 11, 2020: Ricardo Cheung-A-June is the Caribbean Lottery’s newest Lucky Pick Jackpot winner of $74,900. 

Cheung-A-June has been an avid player of various Caribbean Lottery games for the past five years, primarily Super Lotto and Pick 4.  But as luck would have it and on the advice of the cashier at B&J Store, he decided to make his first Lucky Pick purchase on the 6^th of June, matching three of the winning numbers.

This luck continued on his second attempt at Lucky Pick, which encouraged him to continue playing as he felt he was onto something big.  On his fourth try, he asked the cashier for five quick picks which included the winning numbers 02, 05, 06, 07 and 26 for Tuesday, 9^th of June.

“I heard that there was a jackpot winner, so my girlfriend took the tickets and casually said I think you have all the numbers,” said Cheung-A-June.  In utter amazement and shock he took the tickets from her to confirm that he was indeed the winner of the $74,900 jackpot. 

Cheung-A-June shared “Even, though I don’t play the games daily, I always endeavour to play as frequent as I can, and it proved that you have to be in the game to win.  I am proof of that.”  He is extremely grateful for his winnings, as he intends to pay off his debts and be debt free.
